More than 3 countries issued travel warnings for their citizens to avoid visits to the U.S
The shooting deaths of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling, and killing of five police officers in Dallas were circulated on most of the social media websites in the month of July 2016. In the consequences of the beginning of bloody month and subsequent protests, a number of rumors circulated on Facebook reported that three countries have issued warnings to their citizens to avoid travelling to the United States. This alleged claim was normally unattended by documentations, it also left many to point out their own whole story regarding its authenticity. Some of them confounded police shootings for the supposed warnings and some blamed on shooting at police officers, some of them speculated that warnings was due to general unrest.
The United Kingdom issued a travel warning for its citizens in the month of April 2016 about visiting the United States. This warning was specific to transgender, gay and lesbian people and redirected citizens to avoid travelling for Mississippi and North Carolina States due to supposed unfriendly locations for the U.K citizens. “Condé Nast Traveler” published an article on 11th July 2016 about travel warnings issued by the Bahrain, Bahamas and the United Arab Emirates regarding the visit to the United States. There are many countries issued travel warnings for their citizens to avoid travelling in the current year to the United States. Those warning were different from country to country and there was not any single issue on travelling. We found that at least nine countries issued travel warnings for their citizens to avoid travelling to the United States.
