750,000 Women Crowd gathered in Los Angeles against Trump

On 21st January 2017, a large number of demonstrators packed downtown Los Angeles. A number of news outlets reported that it was a peaceful rally and a large number of Hollywood celebrities attended the rally. News indicated that a huge amount of people from all around the world joined the protester in Los Angeles. Most of the foreigners were come from Paris, Sydney, Berlin, Nairobi, Cape Town and Mexico City. They joined protesters to express their anger and displeasure against proposed bombast policies of new U.S president Donald Trump. The rally took place on 20th January 2017, just after the inauguration ceremony of 45th president of the United States. The protesters in Los Angeles were treated by live musical & dance performance by various performers including Regina Spektor, Jackson Brown and dance troupe of Debbie Allen.

Women's March in Los Angeles

The resident of Redlands, California, 46 years old woman Michelle Moudry said that she came to downtown from the Inland Empire due to she was much worried over the new U.S administration. She added that she believes that the new U.S president Donald Trump is pushing Americans to an extreme danger. Kerry Washington (known as “fixer” Olivia Pope in the political thriller Scandal) also said that after the announcement of U.S election results, a large number of social media users started asking from Pope to “Fix it”. A star of a hit series “Orange Is the New Black”, Laverne Cox said that transgender people are being considered as scapegoat and they were targeted by bathroom bills in various states including North Carolina. A protester 51 years old Nanette Carey from Los Angeles said that she was worried due to Trump has “Offended every American”.
