On Thursday 9th February 2017, the San Francisco 9th Circuit Court ruled out on the appeals for keeping the travel despite the ban imposed by the U.S President Donald Trump. The major objective of this ban was to stop people from 7 Muslim-majority countries for entering the United States. At least 100 technologies companies including leaders such as Google, Microsoft, Apple and Facebook have shown their entire support in submitting lawsuits against imposed ban by the U.S President Donald Trump. Point to be noted that Trump had signed an executive order on 27th January 2017. This ban prevented travelers for 90-day from 7 Muslim-majority countries including Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen and Libya. This ban also stopped all refugees from above mentioned countries for 120 to enter in the United States. This ban permanently stopped accepting refugees from Syria.
This executive order immediately experienced a flood of protests from individual demonstrators and groups including ACLU. Point to be noted that a number of lawsuits against the banning order were filed from across the country. The technology industry community has been considered a major opposition against the executive order of Trump. The CEO of Uber, Travis Kalanick has left the economic advisory council of Trump. Google employees staged a walkout. Lyft announced donation of 1 million U.S dollars to the ACLU. The executive of Facebook also publicly criticized the executive order. At least 127 tech companies have signed to support any legal action against the imposed ban by Trump. It is important that Judge James Robert ruled last week on this case to freeze executive order of Trump and allowed travelers to enter in the United States from above mentioned countries. Now, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled out to remain the decision of Judge James Robert.
