Famous Comedian & Actor Charlie Murphy Passed Away at 57
Famous comedian & actor Charlie Murphy has passed away at the age of 57. The manager of Murphy confirmed his death on 12th April 2017 and indicated that he suffered by leukemia, and he had been treating via chemotherapy. Murphy was born in 1959 in Brooklyn and he performed his first movie role in 1989 in Harlem Nights. The movie was directed by Eddie Murphy (his brother). His first considerable role came in 1993 as the villain in the ironic rap comedy CB4. But, he earned his biggest acknowledgement was as a joint member in the Chappelle’s Show (Comedy Central program). A pair of sketches named Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories was created around recollections of Murphy with celebrities Prince and Rick James.
Murphy claimed in one of the sketches that Murphy and his friends were flattened in a game of pickup basketball by Prince and his band members. Later, the singer also confirmed the account of Murphy in an interview. Murphy and co-star Donnell Rawlings hosted “Comedy Central” program when Chappelle left the program. They compiled the sketches shot prior to departure and dubbed the “lost episodes”. He was a part of the Get Down Comedy Tour with the Entertainer Cedric, Eddie Griffin, George Lopez and D.L. Hughley. The social media account of Murphy remained until his death.
