President Trump is going into Summit as a Deal Breaker or Deal Maker?
The CBS correspondent Bianna Golodryga highlighted the ability of U.S President Trump to negotiate in the best interest of the United States. She delivered her words just a few hours before a scheduled meeting between the U.S President Donald Trump and the North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. She started her CBS Evening News report discussing how Trump and others analyzed and discussed the ability of Trump negotiating in positive manners. She stressed that Trump has been considered the self-motivated dealmaker-in-chief instead of a deal-breaker. The Singapore summit not considered a thrill in Manila, but the world is looking who will succeed with the better deal. She highlighted how fast Kim was able in getting himself a powerful position.
Golodryga said that North Korean leader has done something that his father and grandfather was unable to do. Kim rapidly advanced his nuclear program and forced the President of the United States to arrange a meeting with him. But, self-motivated dealmaker-in-chief has efficiently proven to be more of a deal breaker. He is tearing up international deals and coming up short on domestic policies. CBS had the on-screen graphics flip using deals that Trump had pulled out the United States or failed in getting passed. Those deals include the Paris climate accord, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, DACA, health care reform, and Iran nuclear deal. They didn’t mention how some of those deals were against the United States. Golodryga discussed at the final portion of her report that millions of people in the world will be watching the Singapore summit.
