Angry Supporters of Bernie Sanders Were Throwing Chairs in Nevada Convention
The supporters of Bernie Sanders claimed that the schedules for Nevada convention were changed without any notice. At the other hand, the supporters of Hillary Clinton claimed that supporters of Bernie Sanders were aggressive and undisciplined, and showed their anger by throwing chairs. Most of the reporting came by a local journalist Jon Ralston who was present at the convention on 14th May 2016. Ralston was unable to report at the time that convention environment was disturbed with throwing chairs by the supporters of Bernie Sanders. The Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman delivered her words in a live interview with Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews for MSNBC. She said that the party had noticed the incident took place in Nevada convention.
Debbie Wasserman said that Democratic National Committee is neutral about this incident. She added that a number of reports heard regarding the violence in Nevada convention and these incidents were seriously disturbing. A young supporter is Bernie Sanders told to Wasserman that the process was reasonable and understandable, but it resulted in frustration. The credentials committee in Nevada convention was evenly split between the representatives of Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. But, the result should not be in the form of violence. She added that throwing chair, engaging violence and threats are absolutely unacceptable, and it should be condemned by Sanders directly and its supporters should make sure to take steps to not allow this to happen anywhere in the country again.
