The Office of the New York Attorney General issued a discontinue and windup notice on 30th September 2016 to the candidate of U.S Presidential Election 2016 Donald Trump about his charitable foundation. It is important that the organization wasn’t registered with the Charities Bureau of the State. This decision was came due to failure of the foundation to fulfill with orders in submitting extraordinary paperwork and it should be considered as fraud. The Attorney General of the State said that Donald J. Trump Foundation was violating the Section 172 of Article 7. This section demands organizations to be registered with the Bureau that are seeking for charitable donations in the state.
This article also demands to submit their annual financial reports and authentic financial statements. The office of the Schneiderman posted a letter at the official website of AG. The letter was based on the information collected by the Charities Bureau, in which Trump Foundation was involved in fundraising activities in the State of New York in 2016. The foundation wasn’t registered with the Charities Bureau according to the article 7-A, so they are not allowed to be involved in such kinds of activities. The Trump Foundation should stop immediately for their entire fundraising activities in the New York State. Just 15 days have been given by the Attorney General to the Trump Foundation to finalize their paperwork and to register their foundation; otherwise they will face more legal actions.
