Expected School closings for Monday

The National Weather Service has indicated that school closings are expected on Monday due to predicted a high 19 degrees Fahrenheit with the of windchill predicted to reach -6 degrees Fahrenheit. The National Weather Service indicated that Wind speeds could reach 20 miles per hour and Monday night could see additional snow accumulation of about 1 inch. St. Clair County Community Mental Health will be open Monday, but there will be no agency transportation. St Clair County Community College canceled off-campus classes at Harbor Beach, Cros-Lex, Sanilac CC and Algonac.

School Closings

The following schools have canceled classes for Monday, Feb. 5:

Algonac Community Schools, Armada Area Schools, Anchor Bay School District, Blue Water Choices, Brown City Community Schools, Capac Community Schools, Community Enterprises of St. Clair, Carsonville-Port Sanilac Schools, Croswell-Lexington Community Schools, Creative Employment Anchorville, Deckerville School District, East Shore-Leadership Academy, East China School District, Harbor Beach Community Schools, Immaculate Conception Elementary-Ira, Life Skills Opportunities, Landmark Academy.

Life Skills Bright Futures, Marlette School District, Memphis Community Schools, Marysville Public Schools, New Life Christian Academy, Peck Community Schools, Port Huron Area School District, Richmond Community Schools, Romeo Community Schools, Sandusky School District, Sanilac Career Center, Sanilac Special Education, St. Edward on the Lake Elementary, St. Clair TEC, St. Joseph’s Academy-Richmond, St. Mary/McCormick Catholic Academy, St. Mary School-St. Clair, St. Peter’s Lutheran-Richmond, Woodland Development Center, and Yale Public Schools.
