The Facebook has been experiencing a very tough time about fake news, sexism and political twists. It was though-out by the European Union for lawmaking to inspire a more cooperative response to such postings. So, Germany supports perfect for social networks in ignoring hate speech. Now, an Austrian appeals court has ordered that Facebook should delete hate postings published not just in Austria, regarding the leader of country’s Green party. The original lawsuit was submitted by the Austrian political party in the month of December 2016 about posts published by a fake profile and called it MP Eva Glawischnig a “corrupt Tramp” and a “rotten traitor”. The Green party alleged that Facebook hasn’t yet deleted the posts after receiving several requests for its deletion.

The appeals court pointed out that it would be very hard to find similar postings, but Facebook should find & remove the posts including any kind of duplicated reposts. It was clearly mentioned by the court that Facebook has to delete entire posts globally published, instead of just blocking them just for Austrian Facebook users. The Green party is looking to get more powerful ruling from a higher court and demanded that Facebook should delete entire posts that are similar rather than just identical. Facebook should identify the Fake accounts holders and pay damages to inspire other victims of hate postings. Green Parliamentarian, Dieter Brosz said that Facebook should put up with the allegation because it is world’s largest social platform for hate, but doing nothing against it.
