Listen to this articleA famous songwriter, guitarist and singer Jimmie Van Zant has died. He was cousin of Johnny and Ronnie Van Zant, the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Van Zant had been considered the founder of 38 special vocalists. This announcement was posted on 7th April 2016 on his Facebook page and declared that Jimmie Zant had died at the age of 59. The Daily Banner also indicated that Van Zant died due to liver cancer in a hospital in Florida. He was added in the waiting list for liver transplant for the past couple of years. A number of online funding campaigns arranged concerts to raise funds in order to help him.
Most of his fans said that Jimmie Van Zant knew the reality because when we asked about his health, he just showed smiles and said that “I think the time is over, but everyone should leave”. He always showed happiness during discussion with his students and juniors and said that it is my family and I proud on them. We also found his messages on the Facebook in which he said that I know I am riding off coat tails. He said it is just like as your father has a restaurant or car dealership and before his death he tells you to pick it for you. Do you sell them? Of course not, those are priceless. So, my profession is my property and I know my students are my son and they will take care of it.
