This photograph became most popular when it was appeared on 24th March 2015 in a Twitter account which was updated by a journalist Nadia Abu Shaban. Nadia identified this innocent child of Syrian refugees. Most of the visitors were in doubt about the correctness of this photograph.
Before publishing the key information about this specific photograph no one knew about its origin. The BBC found the source of this image linked to a Turkish newspaper. The photojournalist of Turkish newspaper Osman Sagirli explained that this specific photograph was taken in the month of December 2014 at a refugee camp in Syria, showing a 4 years old little girl Hudea. She was looking afraid from telephoto lens of the camera of photojournalist. Osman said that he realized that she was terrifying when he put his camera in front of her. She immediately raised her hands but she didn’t show smile on her face or she didn’t ran away. There were a large number of Syrian refugees in the camps and he found that their faces showing pictures of fear and it was finally confirmed that this picture was first published in January 2015.
