After the ending of the U.S Presidential Election 2016, protests started in several cities in the United States. A large number of young people and minorities walked on the streets to express their feeling about the elected U.S President Donald Trump. There are also some reports about flag burning, a number of arrests during clashes between protesters and police in various cities. At least one shooting incident was also reported in Portland, Oregon and one protester was reportedly injured, but most of the protests were peaceful. A website “Christian Times Newspaper” posted an article on 12th November 2016 supposedly showing a storm of violence during a march in Philadelphia and the death of a homeless man was reported.
The posted article includes a video clip of 27 seconds captured from a CCTV camera. This video clip was showing an attack by a group of black people beating a homeless veteran during the celebration night after the victory of Donald Trump. Point to be noted that posted video was showing original attack, but the time stamp showing that it wasn’t captured in 2016 and the video doesn’t have any kind of relation with the Anti-Trump protests took place after 8th November 2016 election. The displaying event in the posted video was occurred on 7th April 2015, when a group of Black people attacked a homeless man at a service station. After the death of victim in November 2015, murder charges were filed against killers. The Christian Times Newspaper presenting itself as authentic news outlet, but most of its contents are fictional and it doesn’t have any link with ChristianTimes.com, as it is considered authentic news source.
