On 30th September 2015, Dr. Ben Carson (Republican Presidential candidate) arrived at a town hall in New Hampshire for his campaign. One of the person in the audience said that we don’t know that Dr. Carson do believe in climate change. This news published on a website ‘Occupy Democrats’, including a title ‘Ben Carson: I haven’t any Idea How Gravity Works, but Change in Climate is a Hoax’. This news was widely shared and republished online. Carson said in his speech that you should know basically what I believe about climate change because our media is awfully misrepresenting it for their interests. Yes, climate will be changed at any time, it doesn’t matter about the temperature but it is happening.
He also said, I don’t care either you are Republican or Democrat. You should take special care of your environment because it is very important to secure your next generation. It should not be considered as a political statement. This speech is considered same as the earlier said in his speech at Bull Moose Club meeting in Des Moines in the month of May 2015. Most of the people think that Dr. Carson said more scientifically to his voters in the town hall campaign. But it seems that ‘hoax’ doesn’t mean climate change, he just delivered his idea but not means that he has no idea how gravity works. Some said that Dr. Carson has confused his voters about short-term weather variation and long-term variation in climate change, but some said that it indicates about the evolution.
