James Dean and Marilyn Monroe Together?

On 30^th August 2015, a Twitter account user @SadHappyAmazing updated status by adding two photographs supposedly showing two actors Marilyn Monroe and James Dean characterizing together. One specific photograph is showing that both actors are standing near to each other. But we have found that this photograph is not real because this specific photograph was created by emerging two different photographs. One picture is real while the second is considered as a piece of artwork created by Paul Gasenheimer. This piece of artwork is called Flutesong (James Dean and Marilyn Monroe), which is created with pencil drawing with uniqueness and it is also considered as a part of artist’s series ‘Hollywood Dreams’. It is superbly demonstrated with the scrupulous detailing of a photograph.

It is also a demonstrative pencil drawing of a lovesmitten leading man and an iconic prominent lady, which is a part of Gasenbeimer’s series of ‘Hollywood Dreams. A tenderly romantic photograph and this special artwork meet with dream of every movie-fan. This specific photograph is a mixture of two different photographs took at different place and different time. The portrait of James Dean was taken or captured in the year 1955 with a scene of East Eden and the photograph of Marilyn Monroe was taken at the Ambassador’s hotel balcony in the month of March 1955 in the city of New York.
