President Trump is currently ahead in Alaska, Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, while Biden leads in Nevada and Arizona. On Thursday morning, Biden was leading Trump by 264 to 214 electoral votes. There are a number of scenarios for Biden to get the 6 additional electoral votes to become the next US President. Actually, the Democratic candidate wants one more battleground state to secure his victory, either 6 electoral votes of Nevada, 20 votes of Pennsylvania, 16 votes of Georgia, or 15 votes of North Carolina. Most believe it might be Nevada to push Biden for the presidency, as he currently holds a lead in the state. But, Trump’s leads in Georgia and Pennsylvania have also destroyed as more absentee ballots are coming in.

Biden would need a combination of at least 2 states to put him over the essential 270 Electoral College votes. A combination of Pennsylvania and Nevada, or Nevada and Georgia would easily put Biden to win the White House. He informed supporters that he was confident of victory after winning Michigan State. Democrats are expecting Biden to pull ahead when all the votes have been counted. Trump’s campaign is alternatively calling for vote counting to be paused or recounts to be held. His campaign has filed lawsuits in Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The final result of the presidential election may not be known for a few days as some states only allow mail-in-ballots to be counted on or after Election Day.
