A Larger Number of Whales Found in Michigan Lake
The Scientists have found that whales are living in Michigan Lake. In 1986, a ship Charlotte Ann sailed on its first annual Great Lakes Whale Watch. The event organizers Chris Castle and Tom said that they were actually searching whales in Michigan Lake and this was organized for the awareness about extremity of whales. The Michigan Lake is one of the largest lakes in the world and it is considered as sixth largest freshwater lake which has a large number of mammals in it. Whales are intelligent animals and migrate time to time from one place to another. This first annual Great Lakes Whale Watch didn’t produce any result regarding whale sightings, but it created a story about secret population of whales in Michigan Lake.
The second major event took place in 2002. When a newspaper Michigan Studies Weekly distributed their newspaper to more than 460 teachers, in which the newspaper accidently reported that a number of whales are living the Great Lakes including Michigan Lake. Some of the teachers addressed to their students and confirmed about existence of whales in Michigan Lake. Last year in the month of September, an article published regarding watching whales in Michigan Lake. This article indicated that there is not any whale in Lake Michigan. In the early months of 2015 most of the rumors published about whales in Michigan Lake and this news circulated online on a large scale. Most of the internet users have asked question that do whales live in Michigan Lake. We have found that there is no truth in these kinds of news. This news are just mistakes or pranks.
