Many Businesses Donated Food and Services Including Chick-Fil-A in Orlando

The mass shooting incident took place in the month of June 2016 inside a Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The city has received a remarkable support from all around the world. A large number of people especially the residents of Orlando lined up for blood donation to shooting victims. Various businesses offered food and other types of assistance after the massive shooting incident in the U.S history. The restaurant chain “Chick-fil-A” was one of the supporting companies on this event. This company has brought together the reputation for being Anti-Gay due to the previous statements of President Dan Cathy against the same sex marriage.

Point to be noted that most of the donations of the company delivered to Anti-Gay groups. It is important that the employees at the local outlets of Chick-fil-A went to work on Sunday morning after this massive shooting incident. All Sundays remained closed of this chain since 1946. The company opened its local outlets on Sunday 12th June 2016 in order to provide food for free to blood donors. A local news outlet indicated that the employees of Chick-fil-A distributed sandwiches and ice tea to blood donors and to the law enforcement officials. There were a number of businesses offered their services for free on this massive shooting tragedy inside the Orlando Nightclub such as JetBlue offered free travelling for the families and domestic partners of the victims.
