A large number of news outlets broke the September 8 news regarding the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Moreover, social media blasted with groundless rumors online including some crazy statements. Some of them were found saying Queen Elizabeth II didn’t die before September 8, 2022. The fact-checked information said Facebook posts sharing were presenting a viral QAnon claim.

The claim says the queen had died a while ago, long before September 8, 2022. The post pointed out that her death was part of a dark conspiracy promoting immersing in child trafficking or pedophilic disorder. It is important that Elizabeth was snapped on September 6, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The Queen previously appointed Liz Truss as the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth died 2 days later at the castle. The adherents of QAnon have shared the unfounded claim by promoting unsupported conspiracy theories. It is noteworthy that the claim has actually a baseless theory. Another claim said Prince wasn’t given up for the queen’s birthday in 2021. The claim was referring to the purple-attired American music legend (not a family member of Elizabeth).

A False Claim Said Prince Died on 21st April 2016

One Instagram post claimed on September 8 that Prince died on April 21, 2016. Meanwhile, this date is the birthday date of Queen Elizabeth and he was put to death as a birthday present. Our fact-check found that it was entirely false because Prince died due to an incidental drug overdose. He died in Minnesota and health officials said he had unconsciously taken a fake Vicodin laced with fentanyl.

Moreover, Queen Elizabeth made a public appearance in a different country, Windsor, England, to celebrate her 90th birthday. Another conspiracy said Queen Elizabeth II didn’t die from the Covid-19 vaccine. It wasn’t the first time this kind of claim circulated related to a famous personality. Various rumors said on Twitter after Queen Elizabeth II’s death that she died due to a poisoned vaccine.

Queen and Her Husband Were Vaccinated in 2021

Keep in mind that all these claims surfaced without evidence. There wasn’t any announcement connecting her death to the Covid-19 vaccine. Meanwhile, Queen was infected with Covid-19 in 2022 but she and her husband were vaccinated in 2021. Media reports didn’t mention her health before her death and that she was in critical health condition.

One surfaced claim said she wasn’t shot and killed in Detroit. This senseless claim arrived on an Instagram post, featuring the logo of (a funky news outlet) Rap TV. It was still unclear whether the post was aimed at a joke. However, it was confirmed that Detroit didn’t involve in her death. The royal family officially announced that Queen died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, without mentioning the death cause.

Were Queen Elizabeth II & Her Husband Lizards?

On September 8, a video was posted on Facebook and shared, showing an unreal claim. The post found claiming that Queen Elizabeth II and her husband (late Prince Philip) were lizards. It was related to a conspiracy theory of the constellation Draco that they are part of reptiles with reptilian blood. In 1998, Time magazine reported that the claim was picked up from a book, The Biggest Secret.

Meanwhile, the author of “The Biggest Secret” book is a former BBC journalist. The journalist claimed that the Clintons, George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and others were reptiles. However, the claim has also spread to other public figures. There were various false claims such as a snake coming out of the jacket of President Joe Biden.
