Listen to this articleThe U.S President Trump has signed another executive order about immigration limitation to the U.S. The current signed executive order is banning temporarily to the citizens from 6 particularly Muslim countries. The major difference between the current executive order and the previous order issued in the last week of January 2017 is that Iraq has been excluded from the travel ban countries. But, this order will also stop the refugee program and decreased the total number of refugees. Now, the U.S will accept only 50 thousand/ year, it was 110 thousand in the administration of former U.S President Obama. The other major change in the new executive order is increasing clarification about who may be exempted from these restrictions.
The Hill also reported that the legal permanent U.S residents will not be covered under the executive order and those holding authorized visas. The people having dual citizenship and a passport from a country not included in the banned countries list of the executive order will not be restricted. The current executive order will not be implemented as his previous executive order was imposed immediately. The current new executive order will take into effect on 16th March 2017. It was due to giving a considerable amount of time to sort out essential needs to be done in order to prevent any kind of heavy confusion that happened after signing his previous executive order on 27th January 2017. The opponents of the previous order called it religious attack and pointed out about expected terrorist attacks on the U.S territory announced by the people not included in the travel ban list countries.
