New Google Doodle Theme to Promote Support & Prosperity of Others
Google has shown its commitment to promoting the support and prosperity of others during critical times. The company also released a new Google Doodle on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. This Doodle was revealed as part of the 2022 Google Doodle contest.
It is a national competition that enables school-age contenders to submit their artwork to the search giant. Each state in the US territory will appoint one finally selected nominee for the competition. The homepage of Google will show the winning Doodle for the day. The selected title for this year’s Doodle is “Not Alone”.
Araque-Liu Suggested the “Not Alone” Theme
A 16 years old high school junior from Florida Araque-Liu suggested this name. The suggested Doodle characterizes a pair of people in each other’s arms. Google reported that the theme describes the relationship of Araque-Liu with her mother. Her support allowed the teenager to turn to comfort during the Covid-19 epidemic isolation period.
This Doodle theme was presented as a reminder of the support that is essential during the crisis period. Araque-Liu said she cares for herself and accepts others’ care for her. She often efforts to shoulder a burden on her own and neglects that she has so many people around her.
They care about her and need to help her like her mom. She added that offering and receiving others’ support provided significant relief to her stress. This motivation allowed her to tackle various things she could never achieve on her own.
Google Doodle Theme Will Remind People in Critical Times
Google said Araque-Liu is hopeful that her Doodle theme will remind people they aren’t alone in the most critical times. The teenager informed TC Palm that she started realizing her parents cared for her when she was growing up. She needed her parents to focus a lot more on her art.
The art teacher of Araque-Liu, Amanda Jones informed the news outlet the win will eventually show the importance of art power. She said about her student that Araque-Liu just continued to set the level higher & higher. The Doodle for Google contest national winner Araque-Liu will collect around a $30,000 college scholarship.

Araque-Liu will also receive a $50,000 technology grant dedicated to supporting and enhancing her school. Moreover, the company’s website will also publish a full gallery of all Doodle for Google nominees and finalists. Google pointed out that the submissions for the 2023 edition of the competition are expected to start this winter.
Keep in mind that Google Doodle also celebrated the 112th birthday of German physicist Oskar Sala on July 18, 2022. He was also an electronic music composer and the son of a singer mother and ophthalmologist father. Oskar was a violin, piano, and the tautonym professional player. He started his career when she was a boy and grew up to become a leading icon in the electronic musical sector.
Oskar Sala Invented the Mixture-Tautonym Instrument
Oskar studied physics and composition at school and invented a new musical instrument, the tautonym. He used this instrument to generate music & sound effects such as bird cries, window slams, and hammering a door.
Most of us have heard these voices on radio, television, and in film projects such as The Birds and Rosemary. Oskar offered a donation of his original Mixture-tautonym instrument in 1995 to the German Museum for Contemporary Technology. Oskar Sala passed away at the age of 92 in 2002.
