Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House cancelled

On Monday, the White House has announced that Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the White House has been canceled. The visit was planned for 5th May, but the team will not attend a scheduled celebration of its Super Bowl victory. The Philadelphia Eagles will not be able to visit the White House with their full team. The U.S President Trump said in a statement that they disagree with their President due to Trump insists that they should stand proudly for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country. The Philadelphia Eagles needed to send a small delegation, but at least one thousand fans were planning to attend the event.

White House cancels Philadelphia Eagles' visit

Most fans were invited to the White House to be part of a different type of ceremony. Honoring people will honor the United States by paying tribute to our national heroes. The Philadelphia Eagles released a statement after an announcement from the White House. On 22nd May, the coach of Eagles Doug Pederson informed the press that it might be adventurous to celebrate our first Super Bowl Championship. We are really thankful for all of the support received. We are looking forward to continuing our participation for the 2018 season. The Eagle’s coach Doug Pederson informed reporters that entire team would visit on 5th June. It is important that the Eagles are now in the midst of 4-days of organized team activities. The NFL enacted a national anthem policy for 2018 that requires players and league personnel on the sideline to stand.
