On Tuesday, President Donald Trump informed reporters that losing is never easy. He also said that he hasn’t written a concession speech. President Trump was speaking with reporters in Arlington, Virginia. He said that he has not yet thought about a concession speech for if he loses the presidential election to Democratic challenger Joe Biden. Trump was asked if he had written either an acceptance or concession speech, he replied and said, “No, I’m not thinking about concession speech or acceptance speech yet. Hopefully we’ll be doing only one of those two, and you know, winning is easy, losing is never easy. Not for me it’s not”. Point to be noted that President Trump was in Virginia, visiting campaign workers at the RNC Annex, alongside several of his senior staff.

President Trump concluded by mentioning the campaign workers, and said, “This group has been with me – a lot of them are very young, but they’ve been with me, many of them for a long time. I really came here to thank you all, and then I’m gonna say: And get immediately back to work!” Point to be noted that President Trump has repeatedly refused to commit to accepting the result of 3rd November’s national election. He has falsely claimed that mail-in-voting will lead to widespread fraud. He said in an interview in July without evidence that he might not accept a losing result in November’s election because mail-in voting is going to rig it.

Trump said, “I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election if I win”. Biden has been leading Trump in national polls and in key battleground states for months, but the president has claimed that polls that show him losing to the former vice president are Fake News. On Sunday, Axios reported that if President Trump is leading when votes start being counted on Tuesday night. It says he will declare victory early. President Trump also said, “That was a false report. I think it’s terrible when we can’t know the results of an election the night of the election in a modern-day age of computers”.
