US President Donald Trump blasted during the Democratic National Convention after Bill Clinton placed responsibility for the United States’ coronavirus cases on the chaos in the Oval Office. He expressed his feelings after the 2nd night of the DNC and said, “Tell the Dems that we have more Cases because we do FAR more Testing than any other Country”! The tweet came right at the end of remarks from the 2-term Democratic President, who said that while the virus was on a path to killing 200,000 Americans. Clinton said in his speech, “Trump was bragging what a great job he was doing. It is important that Trump allegedly ignored expert advice and shrugged when asked about a surge in deaths. COVID hit us much harder than it had to. We have just 4% of the world’s population, but 25% of the world’s COVID cases”.

Bill Clinton said, “At a time like this, the Oval Office should be a command center. Instead, it’s a storm center. There’s only chaos. Just one thing never changes his determination to deny responsibility and shift the blame”. Point to be noted that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 6.2 million positive Covid-19 tests have been reported from more than 70 million conducted, a positive rate of 9%. Trump has repeatedly claimed that the US only has the highest number of Covid-19 cases because of the number of tests it carries out. But, he has made misleading claims regarding the levels of US testing. President said the country tests more than all other countries put together. Trump said at a rally that he had informed officials to slow down the rate of testing.

Point to be noted that Trump was on an unofficial campaign trip to Arizona, a possible battleground state with its 11 Electoral College votes as Democrats prepared for the second evening of their 2020 nominating convention. Trump started his day reacting to a fiery speech by former First Lady Michelle Obama that ended the Monday night portion of the DNC in which she said he is faking his way through the job, stirring up racial tensions and is unfit for the office. President Donald Trump tweeted, “Somebody please explain to @MichelleObama that Donald J. Trump would not be here, in the beautiful White House, if it weren’t for the job done by your husband, Barack Obama. Biden was merely an afterthought, a good reason for that very late & unenthusiastic endorsement, anytime”.
