The recent poll also shows Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has opened his widest lead in a month in the presidential race with obtaining a 10-point edge over President Trump. 51% of Americans backed Biden and 41% said they were voting for Trump. Just 4% said they were choosing a 3rd party candidate and another 4% said they were undecided. The next presidential debate is scheduled for 15th October 2020. But it is still unclear how the president’s fight against coronavirus will impact the next presidential debate. The first vice presidential debate between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Mike Pence is scheduled on Thursday.

There were various conflicting reports about the health status of President Donald Trump after he was hospitalized following his coronavirus diagnosis. The White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows informed reporters that President Trump went through a very concerning period on Friday. He said the next 48 hours will be critical to his care. The comments of Meadows contradicted an earlier assessment of Trump’s health by the President’s doctor, Dr. Sean Conley. President Trump’s doctor said Trump was doing very well. He confirmed that President learned of his diagnosis 72 hours ago. Now, he has confirmed that the health condition of President is much better and he will be discharged from Walter Reed military hospital on Monday.
