It would lead to a mixture of content to provide support in boosting the Snapchat engagement. You just need to select the friends from the list you need to allow their contribution to the story. Their created content will become visible on the accounts of your selected friends. Snapchat also explained the move and shared a detailed video on YouTube.

You can ultimately add the selected Snapchat friends to the loop. It would enable them to create their own shared content. However, you can also block a friend in the sharing loop and generate an alert. It is important that the shared stories are visible just for 24 hours, similar to Stories. Users will not find a shared chat feature in the format, like the normal Stories and Groups.

Shared Stories are parallel to the Custom Stories

Moreover, this new feature is parallel to the Custom Stories of the platform and enables users to create group Stories. This format was mostly restricted to the location of the users. Keep in mind that Shared Stories is a new sound pattern of Custom Stories. Custom Stories previously enabled Snapchat users to create a Story and invite friends to view and participate.

The Snapchat users added to the group are now able to add their friends with the new enhanced Shared Stories. Snapchat said this feature would make it possible for the entire team to manage the group of new participants. It is noteworthy that most cooperative content has received a significant boost with the success of TikTok in recent years.

It is an animated filter in AR (augmented reality) specific to sign language. This idea is aimed at motivating users of the social platform in learning American Sign Language.

A team of deaf and low-listening employees has developed this advanced feature in collaboration with the SignAll startup. However, the Alphabet Learning Lens can teach users to spell their names and practice sign language through simple games. The technology of SignAll enables the tracking of gestures and hand movements. It allows recognizing correctly made signs and helps users learn this amazing language.

Sign Language only supports English Language

However, it just recognizes the sign language in English. There are some key differences between sign languages. But it depends on the region, country, and the spoken language. Meanwhile, the major objective is to teach sign language to more communities. The social platform has already taken measures in this move.

Moreover, Snapchat already launched a series of Ramadan-related updates and named it Ramadan Bitmoji, festive AR lenses, and geo-filters. The social platform said users are now able to select lenses including simple Ramadan greetings and a countdown to the month. It also enabled Snapchat users to send Iftar wishes to their family and friends.
