South Wales has Planned Scanning Every Face at the Champions League Final in Cardiff

If you are planning to watch the Final of UEFA Champions League on 3rd June 2017 in Cardiff, you will supposedly a part of major experiment in security and privacy disturbance. The South Wales Police has planned to conduct a face recognition test. It might scan every one (at least 170,000 expected visitors) looking to watch the final match. This scanning will not just involve people heading to the stadium, but cameras around the stadium and main train station of Cardiff will provide a comparison of faces against police database of at least 500,000 people. After finding a match, police will initiate observing and it would provide a handsome support in stopping a terrorist or general criminal or gangster.

The surveillance camera commissioner in UK Tony Porter also mentioned that the Police Department in South Wales should follow the usage guidelines of the country. It means that police officers will only be able to harvest much information according to their desired requirements and it will be transparent with their collected data. Point to be noted that there are a number of evidences of police forces canning face recognition data for innocent people in the world. Now South Wales will supposedly show self-possession due to there is a concern that it might be desirous in keeping more face information than just essential need. It is important that face recognition basically rely on clear visible head shots, so how is it possible to capture those shots among the presence of thousands of people moving towards stadium or train station?
