She declared in her petition that she no longer lives with her biological father and needed a name change. She wants to compete with the primary name of her mother, Justin Musk. The appeal for her gender was officially accepted as female. Her name was previously changed on a new birth certificate in April after filing an appeal in California Superior Court. Moreover, there is also a hearing scheduled for it later this month. TMZ first reported the filing that rapidly started circling on Twitter and Reddit this weekend.
Prior to the TMZ report, the Daily Beast sent an email to Elon Musk about his daughter’s filing. Musk responded that she doesn’t need to become a public figure. He said that he thinks it is essential to protect her right to privacy. Please, it isn’t right, and don’t blame someone against their will. Various other media outlets also published the news, including The Los Angeles Times.
A Wake-Up Call for Elon Musk
However, the Daily Beast was unable to reach Justine Musk or her daughter for comments. But her mom tweeted when the story started circulating. The communication director of the National LGBTQ Task Force, Cathy Renna informed the Daily Beast about the story. She said the group will not approve of the exposure of a young person because her parents are famous.
Renna said it is supposedly considered a wake-up call for Elon Musk. The CEO of Tesla has a history of delivering insulting and anti-trans comments, especially about gender usage. Renna is hopeful that she has found support from her other family members. Musk’s daughter has a large supportive community, so it does not matter to her.
Musk’s Idea of Gender Differences
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla described himself as a free speech authoritarian. It came under criticism in 2020 for tweeting that gender sucks and prompted his partner Grimes at that time. She also asked her partner to turn off his phone because she was unable to support hate. However, Musk implored in another tweet that he undoubtedly supports trans. But all these gender identities are artistic dreams.
Musk has been taunted at the idea of gender differences in other tweets. On June 11, he tweeted that gender differences don’t exist and genders are extremely different as permanent surgery is just the choice. He said someone is potentially better than him to explain this contradiction. Musk and singer Grimes (gender-neutral) reportedly adopted a gender-neutral parenting system for their 2 children.
Musk has Five Children with Justine
Grimes formerly said during a YouTube Livestream that she doesn’t need to gender them. It is noteworthy that Musk has 5 children with Justine, including twins and triplets. Justine said Musk had grown up in the male-dominated culture of South Africa. His will to compete and intimidate made him successful in business.
Justine added that the judgment of Musk overruled mine and he was always remarking on the ways he supposed her lacking. A successful novelist Justine carried on taking care of their children out of the limelight after their divorce. However, she drew notice for appearing to tweet about the defaming trial of Amber Heard-Johnny Depp.
