Trump’s Covid-19 Task Force member Anthony Fauci defended his relationship with the President
U.S President Donald Trump’s Covid-19 Task Force team member, Dr. Anthony Fauci is currently serving as a public-facing person. He has defended his relationship with the President in a new interview regarding the response from White House administration to the epidemic. On Tuesday, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases cleared the air after reports on palace intrigue and alleged friction between him and President Trump. The reports received national media attention throughout the week. Fauci said, “When I’ve made suggestions he’s taken them. He’s never countered or overridden me the idea of pitting one against the other is just not helpful”.
Fauci delivered his words during an interview with WMAL’s Morning on the Mall. He said, “I wish that would stop and we’d look ahead at the challenge we have to pull together to get over this thing”. Fauci also warned young people they were not invincible to the novel virus, which has infected more than 42,000 Americans in all 50 states. He said, “The most vulnerable people are particularly the elderly with underlying conditions. That does not mean that the younger generations should just ignore the precautions about spreading”. It is noteworthy that Trump acknowledged at a press briefing on Monday that this is going to be bad.
WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!

Trump also said national self-isolation guidelines will not last as long as many health officials and leading infectious disease experts have suggested. President said, “I’m not looking at months, I’ll tell you right now. We’re going to open up our country”. Fauci also informed NBC’s Today Show about the supposed timeline considerably differed from his comment delivered just days ago. He said, “I cannot see that all of a sudden, next week or two weeks from now, it’s going to be over. I don’t think there’s a chance of that. I think it’s going to be several weeks”. Point to be noted that the White House has also promoted a 15-day initiative to slow the spread of transmissions and flatten the curve during working to ensure the U.S hospital system capacity during the widespread coronavirus Covid-19.
