The U.S Administration Watched Benghazi Attack in the Real-Time, But Did Nothing
There were a number of fact finding rumors regarding the 11th September 2012 attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya. One of the common rumors was that the officials in the Obama administration were watching the real time attack, but they didn’t interfere and did nothing. The initial description about this claim was appeared on 24th October 2012 and it was published by Forbes magazine. After one hour of start the massive attack of terrorists on the U.S consulate in Benghazi, the U.S commander in-chief, U.S Vice President, U.S secretary of defense and their national security team were gathered in the Oval Office. They were receiving the phone calls of American defenders supposedly under the attack.
They were also watching real-time video collected by drone moving over the site and monitoring the entire situation. Point to be noted that this massive attack continued at least 7 hours, but they didn’t take any kind of immediate step and didn’t send the U.S military support in order to save human lives. This claim became highly questionable at that time when this claim was referenced the ABC News and CBS News due to both news outlets reported this alleged claim. We found that CBS News indicated that the assault videos were collected after 20 days later and the attack evidence gathered from more than 10 security cameras mounted on the compound.
