Use of Electronic Cigarettes in Vehicles Banned in 11 States in the U.S

A website “Associated Media Coverage” reported on 28th August 2016 that at least 11 States in the United States had prohibited the use of Electronic Cigarettes during driving a car. The website mentioned that these 11 States are working in association with the U.S Department of Transportation in order to implement a specific ordinance to impose a ban on the use of electronic cigarettes in vehicles during driving. It means, if you are living in one of the eleven mentioned states then you should keep in mind that the use electronic cigarettes is prohibited while driving a vehicle. Undoubtedly, the U.S Department of Transportation pushed a pressure on the state officials to apply the ordinance within their respective States. These 11 States are New York, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois and North Carolina.

We are hopeful that it will be noticed by the representatives across the country and they will be agreed to implement this ordinance to ban the use of electronic cigarettes during driving by the end of current year or maybe early in 2017. A representative of the U.S Department of Transportation Colton Husker said that the ordinance was originated in order to keep drivers safe during driving their vehicles. It was said that at least 5,834 automobile fatalities were recorded from throughout the country in 2015. The stats indicated that it was at 4,523 in 2014 while this amount was increase by 30 percent in the year 2015. All the above mentioned States were agreed to implement this ordinance in the month of January 2017.
